SOCIETY OF PLASTICS ENGINEERS

Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) was my first internship in college. I began as a social media intern and worked my way to be a graphic designer & marketer full time.

I worked on creating, writing, and scheduling the content for their social media and email campaigns for SPE HQ and their individual groups within the organization. I assisted groups with their marketing and created their emails and graphics, usually for their events. I updated the website with new articles daily, as well as work with my team on any other improvements.

I created materials for their annual event (ANTEC) ranging from the banners outside the doors of each conference room, the ad booklet, flyers, business cards, booth designs and much more. During ANTEC, I managed the social media accounts, assisted with the event and the young professional group (NexGen) with their race.

75 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

My last year at SPE was their 75th anniversary year. We created numerous materials all year long that was displayed on social media, the magazine, the conference ANTEC and more. A few of my big projects in the celebration were creating the 75th logo, the magazine cover and the campaign that ran all year long with our members.

MAGAZINE REDESIGN

One of my biggest accomplishments at SPE was the magazine redesign. I began with a few simple tweaks that weren't too shocking and over time worked it to a new modern look.

SOCIAL MEDIA

I managed all social media campaigns and created the graphics for them. The Chain (Community Platform), HQ Events and Group Events, and Membership were some of the top campaign topics. Below are some examples.
